About this blog

Who is this Blog for?
What do you associate interviews with? Breaking down barriers, building a good atmosphere and understanding, recognizing lies and manipulation, influencing opinions and decisions, physiological reactions, conflict between the participant and the host, words that trigger emotions and many others. These types of phenomena make interviews fascinating to me. And because this is the case, I thought that after 25 years of conducting them, it would be good to share my experiences and reflections with the Reader. Maybe others will share their thoughts in return?
An interview is a commonly used management tool in companies and organizations. By the court, army and police in conducting investigative activities, or in clinical practice, as a diagnostic element. Hence the interest of organizations and companies in using it in the most effective way, which often means making critical and objective decisions. I will try to present the results of research in the field of psychology, neurobiology, physiology and computer science.
Interestingly, in recent years, we can observe a significant increase in interest in the interdisciplinary approach, combining different perspectives. This progress, for now, is being made in a sprint, only to retreat a few meters before the finish line, as in the case of polygraphs and other tools verifying truthfulness. I hope that presenting different approaches and techniques of conducting interviews will be inspiring for people using this tool to obtain information and make often critical decisions.
I encourage discussions and polemics, which will allow people visiting the blog to broaden their perspectives and gain new experiences. Curious, inquisitive and you, boy and girl, oh!!! And you too – I invite you.
Special thanks to my son Michal, who supports me on the blog: the graphics you will have the opportunity to see here are mostly his authorship.
Write, comment and share your experiences!
